Vermilion County boasts
several scenic and wildlife areas.
Currently, there are 3 county parks: Forest Glen Preserve (5 miles northeast of Georgetown), Kennekuk Cove (7 miles northwest of Danville) and Lake Vermilion County Park. In addition, there are 3 state parks: Harry "Babe" Woodyard State Natural Area, Middle Fork State Fish & Wildlife Area and the Kickapoo State Park. |
